Residents of The West Village elect a co-tenancy committee to manage the common property on their behalf. The committee collects and manages the monthly fee paid by all residents and uses the money for maintenance and repairs, snow removal and to maintain a reserve fund for major repairs. For a more detailed description of the duties of the committee, please see Article 3 of the Reciprocal Agreement.

Committee members serve on a voluntary basis for three years. At each annual general meeting two members retire and two new members are elected to take their place.
